The engine includes the following three types:
1. Diesel engine
A diesel engine is an engine that directly injects diesel into a cylinder that is already filled with compressed air, and obtains energy by burning diesel. Invented by German inventor Rudolf Diesel in 1892, diesel is represented by his surname Diesel in honor of him, and the diesel engine is also known as the Diesel engine.
2. Gasoline engine
Gasoline engine, as the name suggests, is an engine that uses gasoline as the source of power. Due to its low viscosity and fast evaporation, gasoline can form a uniform mixture with air outside the cylinder. When the mixture enters the cylinder, it works through the expansion of the gas.
3. Wankel engine
The Wankel engine can directly convert the work done by combustion expansion of combustible gas into driving torque, but in order to ensure the smooth operation of the rotor, oil will be injected every time the fuel is injected. Although the Wankel engine has the advantages of small size, light weight and sufficient power, it has been abandoned by most automobile companies because of its high fuel consumption. Fortunately, Mazda has not abandoned the Wankel engine and is still in the process of research and development.
